Department Interviews

Every department will host interviews during Scholarship Summit – a chance for you to come to campus, interact with your future professors and classmates, and learn more about your major and department.

Sure, there’s an interview, but don't be intimidated; our professors are amazing people who teach because they love engaging with students. Best of all, 80-90% of participants walk away with a $1,000-$3,000* scholarship per year!

*$1,000-$3,000 for Early Action applicants, $1,000-$2,000 for Priority Decision applicants

Transportation

Transportation is available from the Portland airport, train station or bus depot for students traveling from outside the local area without a parent or guardian. For local students (30-mile radius) who do not have any way to get to campus, transportation is available.

If you need transportation, please email visit@georgefox.edu with your travel itinerary by Jan. 24, if you did not submit your plans on the registration form. We will then follow up with you regarding shuttle details.

If you'll be driving yourself to/from the airport, keep in mind that it's about an hour away from campus.

Parents, Families and Guests

We encourage parents, families and guests to attend Scholarship Summit too!

Join us for sessions that address your questions specifically and meet with and hear from George Fox faculty, admissions counselors, financial aid counselors, coaches and current students.

If you are traveling from out of town, here are some suggestions for nearby lodging.
