How to Report Outside Scholarships
Watch: How to Report Outside ScholarshipsYou are required to report any outside scholarship(s) to the Financial Aid office. This will allow us to include the anticipated scholarship on your financial aid package and decrease the amount due to Student Accounts at the beginning of the semester.
Helpful tip for Oregon students: We receive a list from OSAC of any state scholarships you are awarded. There is no need to report these.
Outside scholarships will show as "offered" on your aid package until the Financial Aid office receives the check. Once it is received, the outside scholarship will show as "offered and accepted" on your aid package.
- Click the Financial Aid tile in your MyGeorgeFox account
- Select “Outside Aid”
- If this is the first scholarship you are reporting, select “Report Outside Aid”
- Report the award
- Choose External Scholarship
- Enter the Scholarship Name under Award Description
- Enter the Amount of the scholarship
- Click “Submit”
- If you are reporting additional scholarships after your first award, click the + icon and proceed
