Jessica Chaney, DNP, RN, CPNP-PC/AC, IBCLC
Assistant Professor of Nursing

Jessica Chaney joined the College of Nursing as an assistant professor in 2025 after working at the university as a clinical instructor the previous three and a half years. She is also an alumna of the program (2009).
In addition, she was a pediatric nurse practitioner at the Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic in the three years prior to her hiring. Her nursing career started in 2010, when she began a 12-year career as a registered nurse with the Childhood Health Associates of Salem organization. An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, her areas of expertise include pediatrics, early feeding and early childhood development.
Jessica lives in Dallas with her husband, Michael, and her four children, Marcus, Gideon, Amelia and Quinn. The family attends West Salem Foursquare Church. She enjoys reading, traveling and cheering her kids on in all their sporting events.
