Doctor of Nursing Practice
Elevate Your Practice. Multiply Your Impact.
Across the street and around the globe, George Fox University nursing students and alumni are delivering compassionate care to countless individuals and communities. Now we’re creating new avenues for professional development so you can make the most of your calling as an advanced practice nurse.
Our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist program, which launches in fall 2025, is the first of three Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs that will allow us to increase access to affordable, essential medical care.
The addition of a Certified Nurse-Midwife program in fall 2027, followed by the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program in 2028, will fill critical needs in the healthcare space – especially in rural communities.
We invite you to contact us to learn more about our upcoming DNP programs. You’ll discover a learning community that’s dedicated to helping you transform your capacity as a servant leader.

The space that we're creating at the Portland Center for the DNP programs is going to be a state-of-the-art simulation space. For the CRNA program, we’ll have three high-tech operating rooms, two pre-op rooms, several debriefing rooms and an ICU space. Students will also get experiences with high-risk scenarios so that they will be better prepared once they go out into their residencies.
