The cost of attendance (COA) is a standardized set of budgets that colleges are required to provide to students. We use COA together with information from your FAFSA to determine the maximum amount of financial aid you’re eligible for.

These figures are based on averages and assumptions about the general student population. An individual student's budget can vary significantly. It’s important to remember that 100% of traditional undergraduate students at George Fox University receive financial aid, so no one pays the full cost listed here.

Standard COA items include:

• Tuition
• Required fees
• Books, course materials, supplies, and equipment
• Transportation
• Living expenses (rent, food, utilities, etc.)
• Personal expenses

Additional COA Items Allowed

The following COA items may also be allowed:

• Required coursework supplies
• Course fees
• Personal computer and software (one time only)
• Background check
• University health insurance
• Study abroad expenses
• Juniors Abroad
• Dependent care
• Professional licensure, certificate or first professional credential
