Your course(s) will run from June 3–July 28 and will be hosted online, allowing you to learn when you want and where you want.

Now that you’re enrolled in Summer Online courses, you might be wondering what to expect. In this video, one of our faculty members, Brian Doak, talks you through the "do's" and "don'ts" of online learning in college, so you’re set up with successful techniques and ready to thrive on Day 1!
For Incoming Students:

Access Your MyGeorgeFox Account
You can access your courses through your MyGeorgeFox account. An email with details on your account username and password for MyGeorgeFox was sent to your inbox shortly after you sent your admissions deposit for the fall semester. If you cannot find your username/password information, please contact the IT Service Desk.
Another way to access your summer online courses is through a direct link to the “Student Home Base” for the summer online term on Canvas. Canvas is our “LMS” (Learning Management System), and all courses will occur on Canvas. This “Home Base” will give you tools to get started and links to your specific courses: https://georgefox.instructure.com/courses/1331

Access Your George Fox Email Account
You'll want to make sure you regularly access your George Fox University email account because instructors and other GFU staff will use that account to distribute important updates. Visit mail.georgefox.edu to set up and access your account.

Complete Bruin Bound Summer
As you continue through your Summer Online course(s), you'll also enroll in the fall semester through our Bruin Bound Summer program. You'll register for your fall and spring semester classes, select your housing, and so many other exciting tasks. The Bruin Bound Summer program will offer you a broad introduction to the university, but you'll be a step ahead because you're already enrolled in your first George Fox classes!

- University Bookstore: You can see which books are required for your course(s) and purchase them here.z
- Library: Utilize our library's digital archives to research for your class projects and presentations. Plus, our library offers unlimited access to many news sites, e-book downloads and more!
- IT Service Desk: If you need technical assistance during your Summer Online course, our Service Desk may be able to assist.
- Academic Resource Center: Academic assistance, study tips and other resources are just a phone call or an email away through our Academic Resources Office.
- Student Accounts: You can check your tuition and billing information by selecting the Financial Account tile on your MyGeorgeFox account. If you have questions regarding your account please contact their office.
2021 Summer Online student
I was able to watch the lectures when I was most alert and prepared and could better take in the information. I would rewatch and relisten to material. I took all the necessary notes. This class is wonderful when it is online
