BridgeWeek
What is BridgeWeek?
BridgeWeek is held Thursday, Sept. 11 through Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.

What do we do at BridgeWeek?
We gather together for:
- Cohort-based learning and reflection
- Friendship and community over shared meals
- Worship and formational practices
- Inspiring engagement with faculty and guest speakers

Where Will We Stay?
Lodging is provided for BridgeWeek participants at a nearby hotel arranged by Portland Seminary. You'll stay with your cohort, which helps build community beyond the classroom and makes it easy to join morning prayers, shared meals, and evening gatherings. Hotel accommodations are included in your program fees—no separate booking required!
Please note: For master's program students who started in 2023 or earlier, lodging is not included in the BridgeWeek fee. Please refer to the "Is There a Cost?" section for details regarding your specific program. If lodging is not included, you will be responsible for making your own arrangements.

Is There a Cost?
There is a fee for each BridgeWeek that covers supplies, most meals, and other event costs. Lodging is included for some students, depending on their program and start date:
- Masters program students
- Started program in 2024 or later: $2,000
- Includes lodging
- Started program in 2023 or earlier: $1,000
- Lodging not included
- Started program in 2024 or later: $2,000
- Spiritual director certification students starting in 2025: $2,150
- Includes lodging and additional in-person work with spiritual directors
Students are responsible for making their travel arrangements.

Joy Lujan
Master of Divinity student (2024 cohort)
Having attended a different graduate school that was fully online, I had no idea how impactful meeting my cohort and professors would be – it was life changing! During one of the hardest points in my personal life, my cohort has prayed me up, and the closeness we have I attribute to BridgeWeek. I cannot wait until the next one.
