Exodus Grad Fair for Graduating Seniors
The Exodus Grad Fair is an event for traditional undergraduate seniors to "check out" with university offices prior to graduating and to pick up their cap and gown and commencement tickets.
Spring 2024 graduates are invited to Exodus on Wednesday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Canyon Commons 102-103.
All graduating students will receive an email from the registrar's office the week of Exodus with details about online tasks you'll need to complete either prior to Exodus or at the event.
If you're not able to attend Exodus, please stop by the registrar's office at your convenience after Exodus to pick up your regalia or email registrar@georgefox.edu the week of March 18 to designate someone else to pick up your things for you.
Caps and gowns are ordered for all graduating students toward the beginning of the semester based on size information provided by the student on their Application for Graduation. Students are asked to wear only University issued regalia at commencement.
What will you need to complete at Exodus?
Representatives from the following departments will be present to clear you to graduate
- Registrar’s Office: Confirm your graduation information and pick up your commencement tickets
- Career and Academic Planning Center: Complete the office's Grad Survey; contact your CAP coach if you have questions regarding your degree requirements
- Mail Services: Check your forwarding address for any changes that need to be made (see email from Jered McConaughey)
- Alumni Relations: Stay connected on LinkedIn and via email
- Student Accounts: Make sure your account is clear before graduation. And to ensure your enrollment deposit (net the mandatory graduation fee) is refunded quickly and safely, make sure your direct deposit has been activated and that your banking information is up-to-date and accurate (MyGeorgeFox > Financial Account > Direct Deposit). If you are unable to set up direct deposit, please ensure your mailing and home addresses in your MyGeorgeFox account are current.
- Financial Aid: If you borrowed using Federal Stafford Loans, you are required to complete Federal Exit Loan Counseling. The Financial Aid Office will be hosting mandatory Loan Repayment Sessions on Study Day, of finals week. Please use this link to sign up for a session. - IT - Google Account Changes After Graduation: New for 2024 - You must opt in to continue your George Fox Email after graduation - Opt in form for email. Your George Fox email account will remain active if you opt in. You can view additional information about your account on the Google Accounts for Alumni info page. Your Google Drive files, Google Photos, and Microsoft Office will be deleted approximately 30 days after your discontinuation from the university. If you choose not to opt in, your account will be locked at that time. Check your email for more details from the IT Service Desk or contact servicedesk@georgefox.edu with questions.
- Jostens: Pick up your cap and gown!
