Certificate in Thriving Leadership

Portland Seminary's Center for Thriving Thriving partnered with Leadership Center to create an all-expenses-paid, yearlong Certificate in Thriving Leadership program, providing ministers with an opportunity to:

• Pursue theological education
• Receive vocational coaching
• Build professional networks

This graduate certificate will be conferred by Leadership Center and recognized by Portland Seminary for six credits of advanced standing toward a master's degree.

The next cohort will run from September 2026 through May 2027. It will include:

• Two in-person gatherings in Oregon’s Willamette Valley (Sept. 17-20, 2026 & May 4-6, 2027)
• Monthly virtual small-group gatherings
• Two individual vocational coaching sessions
• Two individual spiritual direction sessions
• Four-module online course
• Final project
• Certificate conferral
