Congregational Thriving
Our Vision
The Center for Thriving builds on the legacy of the Institute for Pastoral and Congregational Thriving by advancing research, innovation, and collaboration to strengthen churches and their leaders.
Through a unique blend of cohort-based labs, research and development assessments, and collaborative partnerships, the Center equips congregations to:
-
Recognize and adapt to their changing cultural and social contexts
-
Clarify and activate their mission in sustainable ways
-
Cultivate Christian practices that deepen spiritual life and community engagement
Research Initiative
Working alongside alumni, congregations, and partners such as Leadership Center and ReStory, the Center for Thriving gathers and analyzes data to identify emerging needs, prevent burnout, and generate innovative ministry models. Our findings are shared through annual learning labs, workshops, and accessible digital resources, creating a robust network of leaders committed to fostering resilience, adaptability, and thriving communities of faith.
Rooted in nearly a decade of experience and grounded in rigorous qualitative and quantitative research, the Center for Thriving seeks to equip current and future leaders with tools, insights, and practices that sustain vibrant congregational life for generations to come.
