June 21-27, 2026
Gain college-level experience from one of the nation’s best engineering programs. Design and build a custom-animated mechanical project. Learn engineering essentials like 3D modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, Arduino and circuits, and how to animate customized projects.
In this immersive week-long experience, you will practice:
- 3D modeling
- 3D printing
- Laser cutting
- Building a custom animated project
- Basic circuits
- Engineering design
By completing this experience, you’ll be eligible for one college credit in engineering.
Cost
The cost for this program is $1,800 per student ($1,600 for students from partner schools). This includes a week of immersive college-level courses taught by George Fox faculty, convenient on-campus lodging, three meals per day in the dining hall, and evening programming.

Faculty Lead
Kayt Frisch, PhD
Professor of Biomedical Engineering
Kayt Frisch earned her master's and PhD at the Unviersity of Wisconsin-Madison. Before arriving at George Fox, she served as an associate professor in the engineering and physics departments at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, and directed the college’s motion biomechanics laboratory. Her research has included studying correlations between biomechanics during hitting a volleyball and injury history using high-speed motion capture and image analysis.
