Faculty Lead
Seth Van Der Eems, MFA
Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Design
Seth Van Der Eems has taught at George Fox for six years and focuses on studio art in its many facets and applications. His own studio practice focuses on mark making on large and small scales, from fence lines and borders to doodles and trails. He likes to think about the ways that we, as humans, mark our landscape to record our perspectives and stories. Outside of the classroom, Seth has also worked as a freelance designer and illustrator for a variety of clients, continually exploring new ways to make everyday life a little more meaningful and beautiful.
