Rachael Fuller, PhD

Assistant Professor of Counseling

Rachael Fuller

I joined the Graduate School of Counseling as an assistant professor of counseling in 2025. I worked previously as a designated crisis responder for Olympic Health & Recovery in Lacey, Washington, and before that as a mental health counselor with Simply Thrive Psychotherapy in Olympia, Washington, and CORE Health in Longview, Washington.

My higher education experience includes two years as an adjunct professor (2023-25) and one year as a teaching assistant (2023) at Multnomah University. I was also adjuncting for George Fox prior to my hiring as a full-time assistant professor, and was previously a graduate writing tutor at Multnomah from 2019 to 2024.

My areas of expertise include crisis work, suicide assessments, and Indigenous identity. I earned a doctorate in counselor education and supervision in 2025 from Antioch University Seattle and hold a master’s degree in counseling from Multnomah (2020), as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University (2018).

I live in Chehalis, Washington, with my husband, Brent, and attend Bethel Church. I enjoy reading, beading, cuddling our two dachshunds, and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks.
