Tracy Fabel

The advancement office welcomed Tracy Fabel as a legacy gift officer in 2024. She worked the previous three years as a program assistant for the Master of Theology program at Western Seminary. During that same timeframe she was a frequent women’s retreat speaker at events for churches in Oregon and Washington, and also worked as an instructional assistant at Western Seminary, specializing in classes in Greek, hermeneutics, and New Testament.

Tracy earned a master’s degree in biblical and theological studies from Western Seminary in 2023 and holds a bachelor’s degree in creative studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1993). She lives in Beaverton and has been married to Doug for over 30 years. She has four children – Mason, Autumn, Emma and Hannah – and is a grandmother.

Her daughter, Autumn, and daughter-in-law, Katie, are George Fox alumni, graduating from the nursing program in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Tracy is a member at Hinson Baptist Church, where she teaches a women’s Bible study. In her free time, she loves long walks, good books, lively conversations, and an occasional complicated board game.
