Program Overview

Students spend a semester studying and working in Romania as they delve into the remarkable history and culture of a country experiencing great social change in a post-communist climate.

You will be hosted by Word Made Flesh, a world-wide missional organization dedicated to serving Jesus amongst the world’s most vulnerable populations. WMF’s mission in Galați, Romania, serves at-risk children, street youth and poor families. Christians from Romania and other nations come together from various local churches to seek the kingdom of God in community.

Through ministry on the streets and educational programs at a community center, WMF strives for a transformed society in which the poor are redeemed and empowered.
