Wood-Mar Hall is home to the computer science and engineering programs. In addition to the engineering laboratories, classrooms and department offices, Wood-Mar Hall also houses Wood-Mar Auditorium, a 253-seat space that hosts the majority of our theatre productions, guest lectures, and other student events. Each seat has an excellent view of the large stage, and the auditorium also boasts state-of-the-art sound and computerized lighting systems.

Wood-Mar Hall was named after two women, longtime Quakers and friends Amanda Woodward and Evangeline Martin. In 1910, they raised more than $30,000 for its construction by canvassing the Newberg countryside in horse and buggy. The building's name honors their vision and leadership.
