George Fox University

George Fox is Oregon's nationally recognized Christian university, providing students with personal attention, global opportunities to learn and serve, and a supportive community that encourages academic rigor and spiritual growth.

We offer bachelor's degrees in more than 40 majors and minorsadult degree programs, six seminary degrees, and 13 master’s and doctoral degrees. 

In keeping with our mission of Christian higher education, all employees – faculty, administration and staff – are committed Christians. More than 4,000 students attend classes on the university’s residential campus in Newberg, at its Portland and  Salem locations, and at other teaching sites in Oregon.

School of Education

The School of Education is the largest school at George Fox, with approximately 50 full-time faculty and 800 candidates preparing for the professions of teaching, school counseling, administration and school psychology. Our graduates are making an impact across the Pacific Northwest, providing services to students and other educators as teachers, administrators, counselors, and marriage and family therapists. Educators who have chosen to pursue this journey of professional preparation are co-learners with a faculty who are committed to excellence, integrity, reflection, and influences in today's world.
