Join Portland Seminary faculty and guests in this evening of innovation at Taborspace, a church turned community center.

This will be an evening for creating new possibility for both those we serve and for our own lives and congregations. Too often we, in communities of faith, seem to suffer from both a crisis of foresight in failing to anticipate new opportunities and a crisis of creativity in failing to imagine innovative new responses to these new opportunities. Tom will invite you to join with other leaders to imagine and create innovative responses to some of tomorrow's new opportunities as we race into the turbulent 2020s. The time will conclude with everyone creating one innovative idea to explore int heir areas of service or in their own lives.

Tom Sine is an author whose first book was The Mustard Seed Conspiracy. His newest release, Live Like You Give a Damn!: Join the Changemaking Celebration, celebrates millennials who are leading a wave of creative new social enterprises to enable neighbors who are at risk to become more self-reliant. Tom has also worked as a consultant to enable college students, churches, and leaders of denominations and mission organizations to create innovative new responses to some of the challenges they are likely to face in tomorrow's world. He has taught at Fuller Theological Seminary and the University of Washington. Notably, he began his career in higher education by serving as Dean of Students at George Fox University.
