Marcia Bogert serves as an assistant professor of nursing.  She is the lead instructor and clinical course coordinator for the senior-level Population Health course.  At the junior-level she is the lead instructor for Nursing of Children & Families.  She also serves as a clinical instructor at the junior-level for medical/surgical and at the senior-level for leadership practicum students.

Marcia arrived at George Fox in 2015 with 27 years of experience in the nursing profession.  Through her career, she has worked clinically as an RN in her specialty area of Pediatrics, both in New York and in the Portland, Oregon area.  Most recently she worked as the triage/charge nurse at Doernbecher Pediatrics-Westside in Portland (2011-16).

Marcia has also led three medical mission trips to Tijuana and Maneadero, Mexico, with her church, Southwest Hills Baptist Church in Beaverton, Oregon.  She earned an MSN at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York (1988) and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from George Fox (1985).
