Department Chair

I am the department chair and associate professor at George Fox University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’m particularly passionate about issues of cultural sensitivity, cross-cultural mentoring, and culturally specific coping for African-American men.

I’ve conducted national presentations regarding counseling issues and the plight of African-American men. My life is dedicated to enhancing the lives of young people through service and scholarship. I am married to Tiffany and am the father of two sons, Tearale and Emmanuel.

So you like to volunteer? What organizations have you worked with?

I've spent time volunteering at the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility, Self Enhancement Inc., Salvation Army, Kappa League Youth Program and the Perspective Gentlemen's Club.
